Description
We are selling my wifes 7 seater Caravelle which we have owned for 5 years. It has 148000 miles on and we have owned it since 126000. It has central locking, power steering, ABS, drivers airbag, electric windows, electric heated mirrors. I replaced the clutch, flywheel, release mechanism, and gearbox oil 500 miles ago. The wheels are 16" Mercedes C-class with new load rated tyres. The cambelt, timing belt and water pump were replaced at 130000 miles and I have fully serviced it yearly regardless of mileage. In our ownership I have replace front ball joints, a C.V. joint, rear wheel bearings and brake lines if needed. Discs and pads all have lots of wear left on them. It comes with 11 months MOT.
The interior and exterior are both in good shape with few signs of its age.
The van was converted from new by a company called Co-Trim who used all genuine VW seats and belts with mushroom bolts so the centre seats are removable. All windows are VW and the sliding window works perfectly with no leaks.
The only issue we have is the turbo has a slight whine but has been checked over and has no play in it. There were no issues with emissions at the MOT and there is no smoke when driving. If I could find the time to replace it the asking price would be higher. This may not be an issue although I thought it only fair to be mentioned!!
This could be a brilliant base for a camper conversion or left as is as a family run around. It really is a presentable T4. Any question at all please call or email and ask. (The number plate is to be changed back to original and does not come with the van.)
