We are looking for Junior Greenkeepers to help ensure our golf courses at Woodcote Park in Epsom are impeccably maintained and appropriately prepared for daily and competition play.

Here at Woodcote Park, our clubhouse set in 350 acres of Surrey parkland near Epsom, we’re passionate about pioneering ever higher standards of dining, accommodation and sporting facilities. As one of our Junior Greenkeepers, you will play an integral part in achieving and surpassing these standards.
The role will see you:
• Working closely with the Senior Greenkeeper as you operate equipment for fine turf maintenance programmes that guarantee year-round quality and consistency.
• Liaising with senior colleagues on upkeep and maintenance
• Helping to manage operations in an environmentally sustainable manner
• Keep abreast of the relevant knowledge, and protect and promote a safe working environment.
Our Junior Greenkeepers work on annualised hours contracts, based on an average 28 hours per week, which may include longer days in the summer and shorter days in winter. We often begin course preparation at 5am, so you must be an early starter, be able to commute to the Club and be willing to work regular weekends.
The Person - to succeed, you’ll be a good communicator, listener and team player, with the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will possess:
• experience of greenkeeping, preferably on a downland golf course and/or at tournament venues
• A clear and relevant understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• A National Certificate and full driving licence would be advantageous.
