Up for sale I have an Italian made, Settimio Soprani accordion. It is a 72 bass piano accordion model, Circa 1950s.
It has 34 treble keys, 2 voices (LM).
The treble keyboard, measures 15\" ranging from G to E, and has 4 sets of bass reeds.
General condition I would say is excellent.
Good quality instrument, ideal for beginners/ intermediate players instrument, or someone who wants it as a second instrument for music sessions etc.
It only weighs 7.2Kg, 15.8 Lbs.
It has 3 treble couplers. Starting from the top, they are, Clarinet (M), Bandoneon (LM), and Clarinet (M).
All the straps appear to be original.
It has been, re valved and waxed, fairly recently. I have tuned it to A=443Hz
The compression is excellent.
It comes in a lined, fiber case.
It is a 72 bass accordion, which covers all keys. It has 6 rows of bass buttons, these are, counter bass, fundamental bass, major chords, minor chords, seventh chords and diminished chords.
The accordion has been tuned, both treble and bass to concert pitch (A = 440Hz).
The two treble clarinet reeds have been tuned to produce a swing setting.
It has also been serviced and some cosmetic touches applied.
It comes with its original hard case.
I have kept the price of all my accordions to the absolute minimum. Accordions, by nature, are very complex and have an extraordinary amount of moving parts (the bigger they are, the more work is involved) and therefore consume a vast amount of time in an overhaul to bring them up to a high standard of playability. Please bear this in mind when you consider buying one.

Unfortunately, I cannot discount from the accordion, the price of the lesson to anyone who cannot take up my offer of the hour free lesson.

I teach piano (up to grade 6), theory, keyboards and bass guitar.
I am prepared to post this accordion at buyer?s own expense. I will give a weight of the accordion for postage purpose?s, where upon the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. I am prepared to pack the accordion free of charge, but I will not be liable for any damage that might occur in transportation. It is up to the individual whether they insure it or not.
Alternately, I can do the courier arrangements and packing for a flat rate of ?20 (UK), not including insurance.
Overseas postage available, prices will vary depending on destination.
Sensible offers will be considered.
