Double room in sociable Bishopston houseshare available 1st September
£335
Description
Hello!
We’re 3 young professionals (!?), two girls one guy, in our late 20s (maybe one of us is in our 30's...) hoping to find a shiny new housemate, male or female, to join our lovely house in Bishopston.
We’re all laid back, considerate and sociable and consider this a house of friends not just a ships in the night houseshare. We like to make the house a lovely home to live in and regularly share meals and catch up about how our days were over a cup of tea/wine. We’re always up for a pint at the local in the evenings and enjoy going out for some good music and crazy dancing on the weekend. We all work mon-fri, so weeknights tend to be quieter.
We live 2 minutes away from Gloucester Road and really enjoy living in this part of Bristol – it’s got some great pubs, local shops and we’re really close to St Andrew’s park.
The house itself is really nice and homely – wooden floors, large kitchen and a lovely garden, where we like to get our fingers green growing beans and ting. The kitchen is the heart of the house, where we all hang out and hear about each other’s days.
The room available is £335 excluding bills and council tax (which works out at about £80/month). We’re looking for someone to move in on Sept 1st. The bedroom is unfurnished and is a reasonably small double but has built in storage a black out blind and a lovely view of our garden. It’s managed by an agency who are pretty good and the landlord seems nice (though doesn’t come by often). When we’ve had emergencies in the past these have always been fixed in good time.
If you think we sound like your kind of people (the dancing isn’t a prerequisite but you may be asked to demonstrate at interview) we’d love to hear from you – tell us a little about yourself.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Caitlin, Ian and Daisy
