Monday to Friday 9 -17.30, with hour for lunch and an element of flexibility.
Hunters’ client is a leading supplier of flight equipment for the aviation industry. Our client is offering a rare opportunity to start and support an enthusiastic person in a career within aviation. Our client is looking for a very positive person they can develop and train. This is predominantly an office position with a retail element. We therefore require proven IT skills and some office experience. If you hold a pilot’s licence, or are currently working towards gaining one and would like to join an elite supplier of flight equipment, we are especially keen to hear from you! We will also consider candidates without the pilot background who demonstrate the aviation enthusiasm and interest combined with the key requirements below.
Job Specification:
• Mail order sales processing
• Retail shop sales
• Dealing with customer enquiries and providing product advice over the telephone, face-to-face and in writing
• Liaising with internal departments to solve customer queries
Key Requirements:
• Computer literate (training will be given on bespoke mail order system, but knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook essential)
• Excellent telephone manner with a professional and friendly approach to customers
• Accurate with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Ability to compose emails and letters with a good standard of English language/grammar/spelling
• Ability to deal with customer queries and follow through to a satisfactory end result
• Organised and methodical
• Enthusiasm to learn about the company’s product range and develop a detailed knowledge
• Willingness to participate in company attendance at Trade Shows
