LIVE IN NANNY HOUSEKEEPER JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Objective
We are looking for an experienced and capable Nanny Housekeeper for a fun and active HNW English family in Weybridge, Surrey. The family has three children: a 4-year-old boy and two-year-old twin boys.
Role details
Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Accommodation: Spacious double bedroom room, own bathroom and lounge on top floor of house with Wi-Fi and own Sky TV.
Hours: Flexible Hours, 45 hours a week, Monday – Saturday, with the opportunity to earn overtime outside that.
Salary: c£450 - £500 net per week dependent on experience.
Start Date: October 2016
Nanny Responsibilities:
• Playing with the boys and keeping them entertained, stimulated and happy in all weather conditions. Taking them to the park and on local excursions. Supervising playdates and helping them learn new skills and games.
• Getting up with the boys in the mornings on alternate mornings to the Principals.
• Preparing simple breakfast and dinner for the children. Packing snack boxes for nursery and school.
• Babysitting in the evening when required by prior arrangement.
• Travelling with the family several times a year.
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
• Daily general tidying of the 6 bedroom house including clearing up of toys (inside and outside), clearing away after mealtimes, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, loading and unloading dishwasher.
• Cleaning of house to a consistently high standard including dusting, vacuuming, polishing, mopping floors and cleaning internal windows where possible.
• Laundry for whole family including bedding changes.
• Ironing of shirts and other items.
Candidate Requirements
• Genuine love of children. We are looking for a naturally talented Nanny.
• Experience working in similar roles with a stable CV that shows loyalty to previous families and success in roles to date.
• Ability to plan your hours in the house, prioritising tasks appropriately and ensuring that work is always complete on time.
• Willingness to be totally flexible and work with the family to help them whenever required.
• Proven Housekeeping skills with the ability and dedication to have the house always looking in immaculate condition.
• Initiative, good common sense and a positive attitude is very important as this is a busy household and every day will be different with varying daily requirements.
• Good spoken English language skills, able to communicate with others and be able to help with homework if necessary.
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• An up to date DBS check or willingness to have one.
• Legally able to work in the UK.
• Driving Licence preferred but not essential.
• Non-Smoker.
• Willing and able to commit to do this role on a medium / long-term basis. We are looking for someone to become part of this lovely family.
