Description
System is 3 months old. Reason for sale, new flat already has wired in Cinema system with wall mounted speakers etc and this is now surplus to requirements.
This is a top quality system, Harman Kardon is widely regarded as one of the best audio manufacturers along with Denon, Onkyo, Bose, and Marantz. The full specs of the receiver are listed below, copied from the manufacturers site. Five voice-matched satellite speakers with 3 inch (75 mm) midrange drivers and 1/2 inch (13 mm) high-frequency tweeters and 65W output each. 200 W down-firing subwoofer with an 8 inch (200 mm) driver offers deep and authoritative low-frequency realism. Bass-boost controls and phase switches for subwoofer with Magnetically shielded loudspeaker components.
There are superficial marks on top of the receiver, shown in the pics, from the Tivo box which I had sitting on it, and the 'K' is missing from the Harman Kardon sticker on the front. Apart from that the system is immaculate. It is missing the EZay microphone, which can be used to automatically setup up the various speaker levels when setting it up in a new room, but I would always advise doing this manually.
I don't have any of the boxes as they were massive and I really wasn't intending to sell it, it was a treat for myself that I would rather keep. I haven't actually activated the warranty so buyer could fill in the forms which we still have for a full 2 years warranty. Bought from licensed dealer shop.
It is all still set up to allow buyers to double check functionality and sound before buying. The RRP for this setup is £1550 with speakers, £600 for just the speakers, and £950 for the Receiver alone (on Amazon). I paid around £900 and thought this was a good deal. It's priced to sell and because it's a lot of money to just sit in a cupboard.
No swaps or other weird suggestions please. Might consider selling the receiver and speakers separately if needs be
