Following on from the success of Coronation Street The Tour, Continuum Attractions has opened a brand new attraction located at the SECC Glasgow, as part of a UK tour. Following the opening we require additional management support on site, working with our current management team
As a Duty Manager you will be supported by the Operations Manager on site as well as our extensive management support team based in York, who can provide you with knowledge and expertise to help you develop your area of the business.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building a career in the Tourism industry, with a focus on guest experience. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to lead a small, close-knit team to deliver exceptional customer service and develop creative and innovative approaches to ensure successful commercial performance and a memorable guest experience.
The Duty Managers will support the Operations Manager in team leadership and development and be passionate about bringing out the best in the team.
You will have a proven track record of delivering results and will also require a sound understanding of financial procedures and practices and effective management of budgets and people.
The attraction opens 7 days a week until early 2017 (except Christmas Day) and you will work 40 hours on a rotational basis with the other Duty Managers.
Day to day duties involve opening and closing the attraction, setting up for the day ahead, handling bookings and sales through Ticketmaster, ensuring our guests have the best experience possible, continual staff training and development, rota scheduling, Financial duties, Obtaining guest feedback and working with the management team to ensure the best possible attraction that we can be. This is by no means an exhaustive list of duties, but full training will be provided.
