Description
Set of 4 Apollo 8 colour posters dating from 1969 each about 53cmx39cm. They show:
- Saturn V launch
- Astronauts in capsule - Anders Lovell Borman
- View of Earth from Moon (Earthrise)
- Space capsule recovery
Also included is an Apollo 8 "flight plan" from the same year showing the planned flight details. This appears to have been a free gift from the era, presented by Crosse & Blackwell (!).
The posters and flight plan are all in good condition, with no major tears or rips. They are a little faded and scruffy from wear over the years with a few creases but generally present well. One of them has been blutacked to the wall but this does not notice from the front. Note that they have been stored in a tube for many years and so have a "curl" to the paper. They would best be displayed in frames.
